In the spring of 1993 we entered the building and remodeling industry. Over the course of the next decade we completed many custom homes, large additions, finished basements, kitchen & bath remodels and really any project we could get our hands on. In 2003 we decided that rather than be a "Do-it-all" type company we wanted to be a specialist in one segment of the industry.
In 2004, we formed Finished Basements Plus. With our mission: "To Be the Best in the Industry," we learned everything we could about finishing basements. This included understanding what materials are best suited in a basement environment, and which would create a warm and healthy space where the customer will get the highest return on investment.

Finished Basements Plus is a family run business. Owner and founder, Steve Iverson, works with his wife, Amy Iverson, to implement only the best customer service and remodeling efforts. In fact, we are a member of the Builder Association of Southeast Michigan (BIA) and have been certified by the Environmental protection Agency (EPA). In addition, we were the first dealer to join in last year's Parade of Homes tour!
